Boom, bang, boom, bang;
Rumpety, thumpety, bump!
Zoom, zam, zoom, zam;
Clippety, clappety, clump!
Rustles and bustles, swishes and zings-
What wonderful noises a thunderstorm brings!


Touch Your Nose

Touch your nose, touch your chin;
That’s the way this game begins.
Touch your eyes, touch your knees;
Now pretend you’re going to sneeze.
Touch your hair, touch one ear;
Touch your two lips right here
Touch your elbows where they bend;
That’s the way this touch game ends.


Trickery

The big round sun in the morning sky,
Winked at a cloud that was passing by.
The gray cloud laughed as it scattered rain,
Then out came the big round sun again.


Falling Raindrops

Raindrops, raindrops, falling all around.
Pitter-patter on the rooftops,
Pitter-patter on the ground.
Here is my umbrella,
It will keep me dry;
When I go walking in the rain,
I hold it up so high.


A Rainbow Fair

When the rain falls from the sky,
Don’t forget to look up high.
If the sun is shining there,
You may see a rainbow fair.
Red, orange, yellow, green, and blue
And you’ll see there’s purple too.


I Will Build a Snowman

I will build a snowman,
Make him big and tall.
See if you can hit him
With a big snowball.


Kite Flying

On a windy day,
Pick a kite, I say!
Send it on its way.
Give it lots of string to play,
Watch it dip and sway.
Hold tight! Don’t let it get away!


Spring

Put up your umbrella
When the rain comes down
Wear a happy smile
Wipe away a frown.
Splash in all the puddles,
Do a little dance.
Rain is just the thing we need
For new spring-time plants


Five Little Snowmen

Five little snowmen, fat.
Each with a funny hat.
Out came the sun and it melted one.
What do you think of that?
Down, down, down, down.

Five Little Flowers

Five little flowers standing in the sun,
See their heads nodding, bowing one by one?
Down, down, down falls the gentle rain
And the five little flowers lift their heads again.

Will it stop, stop, stop?

With a wink, wink, wink,

Will we see sun again,

March winds blow kites around,

March means spring is almost here,
Sounds of birds you soon will hear. (cup hand behind ear)
Watch the leaves sprout on the trees,
Soon you'll see some honeybees. (Make buzzing sounds)
