Here is another hand out that we give out with the above. It has the words to all of our music that we sing for welcome and closing.
Music Makers Songs
Hello Song
Welcome to music makers: hello, hello, hello.
We’d like to welcome __________ (child’s name)
Hello, hello, hello. (sung by child or if child is to young, parent/leader)
We’d like to welcome __________ (repeated until each child is greeted)
What do we do when we come to sing?
(sing as many or few of the verses as desired.)
What do we do when we come to sing, come to sing, come to sing,
What do we do when we come to sing, when we come to music makers?
We like to say hi to all our friends, all our friends, all our friends,
We like to say hi to all our friends, when we come to music makers.
We like to sit for a circle time, circle time, circle time,
We like to sit for a circle time, when we come to music makers.
We like to sing and clap our hands, clap our hands, clap our hands,
We like to sing and clap our hands, when we come to music makers.
We like to march in a marching band, marching band, marching band,
We like to march in a marching band, when we come to music makers.
We like to dance and move around, move around, move around,
We like to dance and move around, when we come to music makers.
We like to sit for story time, story time, story time,
We like to sit for story time, when we come to music makers.
(You may cut out verses as all of them together makes a lengthy song. I often leave out circle time. With the marching and dancing we have the kids stand up in place and march and dance, and then return to sitting with the story time.)
La La Song is on a CD http://www.britemusic.com/review/product/list/id/219/category/33/
this is a link to the cd. The children follow the leader, and the song with a puppet.
Goodbye song:
Goodbye________, Goodbye________, Goodbye________, we’re glad that you could come. (Repeated until all the children are sung goodby to.)
[It’s nice when the person who signs up to be in charge of singing time brings paper copies of the songs or fingerplays so the mothers can participate better and help the children learn.]

Looks great Jeannette! Thanks for doing this :)
Music makers is awesome!
Is there a familiar tune these songs are sung to?
I'll do stoory time for April. I can do finger plays with a couple stories right? Also, when we go in the 2nd room I can play a few of the songs for April on my violin if wanted. Let me know if you need help with anything else.
